He also conducts training and research for businesses and public agencies in the US and many parts of the world.
The firm has consulted with law firms in dozens of lawsuits associated with environmental health and safety and provided expert opinions on findings. Mr. Costa was the lead private investigator in the national outbreaks of infections due to contaminated peanut butter, pot pies, spinach and eggs.

Mr. Costa is a graduate of the University of Arizona (BS Fisheries Biology, Minors Chemistry, Mathematics) and the Florida Institute of Technology (MS Health Services Management-MBA) and has completed post-graduate courses in public health at the University of South Florida; College of Public Health.
